Hi,
I recently bought a Tissot PRC 200 from a online watchshop - seller on ebay. It was sold as a new watch, it's a pre-lift version. What's werid for me is the placement of the 5min mark, it's below the letter E, from the TACHYMETER word. On every photo on the internet, even the auction I bought it on, the mark is below the letter M. I don't have any photos of the mechanism, I would have to go to the watchmaker to open it. From the [hotos I've attached can you tell me if it's a possible fake?

Good eye! When comparing the OP's pic to the 360-degree view on Tissot's website, there is definitely something off with respect to the lack of a space between the two words and maybe the font being used.

This model PRC200 was discontinued ages ago so you have to ask where all the "new" stock is coming from. Buying from eBay is a recipe for ending up with a fake. It can be quite difficult to tell without close-up comparison shots next a real one. I can't tell for sure, but I think there is a reasonablly good chance yours is fake. Couple of things about it don't smell quite right to me, but of course it could be the pics.

Thank you everyone for your insights. I am going to return the watch, there is just to many unknowns.
@imagwai I know it was discontinued a long time ago, but to be honest I don't like the new version od the pcr 200, and it seemed to me that buying a "new" one from a watch seller on ebay will be smater then buying a used one from somebody.
@NC_Hager626 and @Motik yeah the font and the writing seems a bit weird to me also
@Russ1965 the problem is, from what I heard, with this Tissot the original mechanism is pretty cheap so they often put the real one but the rest of the watch might be a fake
@[BOBO] yeah the scale seems shifted to me also

Thank you all again :)
