Still a noob and trying to learn, so bear with me. :)

I got this used dive-style Sharp brand watch on eBay. Watch is fine, even running, but the clasp is broken. The lugs are funky on this one as you see. Removing the original bracelet will leave this weird lug space that is not exactly U-shaped. Any ideas on where to get a replacement band for this thing? Or is it best tossed into the scrap pile?

You can probably fit a seiko jubilee bracelet without the endlinks into there. Is that middle bit part of the case or bracelet ?

Yes, unfortunately, that middle bit is part of the case, almost like a lug "tooth". Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check it out. :)

show us the underneath, is it a solid continuous opening where the spring bar goes? Maybe a nylon strap will fit through.

Unless you are ready to pay for a custom made strap you are pretty much stuck with the bracelet. Show us some pics of the broken clasp though. With any luck it's possible to replace it with little cost.
