There are a few rumors floating around that the BB58 has been delayed until September.

I called my AD, that I have a pre-order with, and they said that while they've heard similar rumors in social media, Tudor confirmed to them that the release is still on track for later this month, July.

Also Tudor's own Instagram has started to promote the 58 in the past few days: https://www.instagram.com/tudorwatch/?hl=en. Initial reviews have also started to surface, like Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight

I guess we're know soon enough.

Thanks for the review link! In the article, it said "As ever, both options come with an additional fabric strap." Is this true? I thought the fabric strap was extra?

I guess the reviewer got that wrong? My AD told me that the NATO no longer comes as a free extra, but as an option when you order the watch. Seems like for the BB GMT, it arrived this way for those buyers.

Spoke to AD today in London. They had a similar waiting list for both the 58 and GMT (c60). The first batch of GMT’s had arrived (3) but had no clue at to when the 58’s would arrive. Maybe September but hoped this side of Christmas. After Christmas and the New Year they hoped (reasonably confident) to have stock in for both for people off of the waiting lists to buy.

That article is reviewing the non working mock-up that AD's have passed around since April. Time is always 10:08. Still a nice write up though.

The GMT definitely did not come with a fabric strap. My AD confirmed that they are not included anymore. Not a deal breaker to me.

I'm disappointed it won't come with a fabric strap. Usually that's not something I'd ever put on the watch, but in the pics the fabric strap looks really nice. The review linked above has a really pretty shot on the strap right at the top.

Googled "Black Bay 58" this morning, and among the top results were the usual big grey dealers, which list an expected August/September availability. Perhaps this means July/August for ADs.

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened this. Bulang & Sons' reviews are usually a photo op for their straps (with admittedly wonderful photos). But this reads like more of an actual review.

Any watch photographer who has worked with brands will always set the time like that for a shoot - smiley happy watches where you can see the branding, and dial print. It's normally a sad face at 8:20 for a 12, 6, 9 chronograph. Just convention.

I spoke with my AD yesterday. I'm not on the list but they said I could come in and have a look at one early July when they would be getting stock. They now don't know when they're getting that stock but at the same time haven't been told about any delays.
