Hi everyone,

I am from Canada and I am very interested in my very first Tudor. I have my eyes set on the Black Bay 58 and contacted my local AD. They are taking orders now but I am not sure about discounts when it comes to a pre-order watch. I read in the forum that Tudors run 10% discount max but not sure if I should try on this Tudor. What do you guys think?

If you have experience purchasing a pre-ordered watch please share.
In general you can do better than 10% on a Tudor (at least on the grey market), but you're not going to get a discount on a new model that's just hitting the dealers. Why would they give you a discount when there are people lined up to pay full price?

You can always try to negotiate, but they don't have much motivation to bend. Paying in cash or giving them a plausible reason to not charge you tax are your best bets. Otherwise, you'll need to wait until the watch is common enough to be just sitting in stores for people to walk up and buy.

I'm disappointed it won't come with a fabric strap. Usually that's not something I'd ever put on the watch, but in the pics the fabric strap looks really nice. The review linked above has a really pretty shot on the strap right at the top.
My Ranger came with the Tudor camo strap. It's awesome. I've never seen a stitched camouflage pattern before. Amazing.

Hello - Jomashop has the watch all models they say it's in stock and add 2% discount...
(I guess that is only for the US market)

Just ordered mine !

Let's see how it goes
Jomashop had the Tudor "pepsi" recently - sold out. Would someone tell me how Jomashop is getting these watches before AD's are even stocking them? I'm not complaining as I've bought numerous watches from there.

Who knows. Maybe importing from countries where it is available and gaining a discount or leveraging exchange rates? Or maybe they were just first on the list at an AD.

Jomashop has contact us for availability and "usually ships in 4 - 8 weeks".

They still don't have the Tudor GMT on a bracelet as that's listed as "backorder 2 - 4 months".

1 in steel's headed to Seattle. I'm really excited, these are gorgeous.

Congrats to already-acquired, what an elegant diver. An appropriate nod to the 1958 Tudor Sub (in that vein, I'd love to see Tudor do a modern Sub reissue).

Thanks. That make sense. I went to check out the watch in person and I compared a few. Turns out that the 41mm BB with blue bezel fits me better. The 58 is great but the colour is clashing with my skin tone. Hope I can get some good discount on the 41mm since that's a older model.
