Hi All,

I have been searching for a birth year diver in my budget and have come across a 1976 Tudor 9411/0 that has caught my eye. It is listed for £2500 and is stated to be all original. Could anyone let me know if there are any alarm bells ringing on this one or offer any advice if this is good value for money? I have read as much as I can find on these, and it seems to be known by some as a pizza face, is the state of the dial a cause for concern in the long term?

Thanks

Veebo

Nothing is jumping out at me. The watch has had its original twinlock crown replaced with a triplock crown at some point though. Tudor dials from this era were subject to this kind of degradation. It is what it is. Some are in better condition than others. Like it or leave it. No real alarm bells here.

I am not so up as far as price on these though. But, others, I am sure, will chime in.

Just curious: what do you spot in those pictures that indicates the difference between the twinlock and triplock?

Thanks
