Diet? That’s harsh.
It is hard to not view them as a sub brand if Rolex though. I don’t think of Tudor as a separate entity.

I have nothing against Tudor and for those who have watches from the brand, that's great.

Having said that, I truly believe if they weren't related to Rolex, people would think of Oris, Longines, Norqain and maybe some Breitling as the tier Tudor is in. They are an approved homage brand to their big brother. Nothing at all wrong with that, not at all, but people think they go against Omega and some even go so far as to think they are even better than Omega. That has to be, in large part, due to it's relationship with Rolex.
