Is Tudor Diet Rolex

Tudor is just Diet Rolex

I was chatting with a friend, and of course we discussed time pieces, the obvious subject of Rolex vs. Omega came up (we happen to love both, and have pieces from both brands), but somehow he asked me about the Pelagos.
I know the history of Tudor, but it is not a brand that I have bought before (the Harrods looks very cool, would I buy it? No.) so I said ‘hmm not sure never had it on wrist…’
To which his response was ‘I don’t blame you, Tudor is just a diet Rolex.’
I do see the similarity in case and dial designs…and of course the history behind Tudor, but where do you stand on Tudor, is it a diet Rolex? Or is it its own brand with its own style, and history?

Yes.

Real coke is hard to stomach, but the diet version is even worse.

I prefer root beer, ginger ale, or my all time favorite: Mirinda. Fanta will do in a pinch as well.

Louis CK, is that you?
I'm sorry, but that stuff really is called squirt, and I really do like squirt. Mix it with tequila and a lime wedge, top it off with ice and boom, great drink over a carne asada.

Love Squirt! Great mixer. It is also really good with gin. Discovered that in Jamaica. The bartender at our resort’s pool took a test tube, filled it half with gin, half with cold Squirt. Wrapped it in a towel and slammed it down on the bar to mix. Then we had to consume it in one gulp. That was a fun vacation 😎
Oh man that sounds amazing. 🔥

Honestly, I am feeling homesick for Mexico. The weather here is grey and cold and boring and I'm already done with it haha
