I was able to get myself a BB 58 on a bracelet and now I am wanting to add the fabric strap. I can't seem to find anywhere online to pick one up, are they sold only through ADs?

The crown and buckle strap is just an Ok substitute, the major thing it’s missing are the holes through the strap for the spring bars to go through like on the Tudor strap. For me that’s almost the best part because I found that traditional natos/single pass natos add bulk and they look around the outside of the spring bar, the Tudor fabric solves this and keeps everything sleeker and closer to the wrist.

I am a big Tudor fan, but I much prefer the C&B Chevron straps; they are excellent quality at a fraction of the cost, easier to acquire, and the fact that they don't have the holes for the pin bars is an advantage for me. The pin bar holes in the Tudor straps partially negates the adjustability, because it forces the watch to be located at a fixed position on the strap, which for many like myself, is not ideal. Yes you don't have to use the pin bar holes and can route the strap over the pin bars, but then the tunnels in the strap are visible and unsightly.

The C&B Chevron straps are truly adjustable and IMO superior to the Tudor straps...

Get an Erika's and call it a day. Superior in every way to the OEM strap.
I think everyone's suggestions (yours included) are all subjective and is based on personal tastes. I actually like the original factory straps as they really are very good. I have a Black Bay Red with the wine red strap and it is beautiful - to me of course.

What is funny to me is that the original poster @golden3ye has not returned to WUS since starting this thread.

koolpep, thanks for sharing that fascinating factory video. |>

It even appears that the strap holes are woven in AND also seem to be reinforced around the perimeters.

Amazing old technology. Tudor should include some sort of article on the strap technology when they provide (or sell) these with an associated watch. (Or do they? I don't know.)
