Are there any other such "twin" models where one model is a direct successor of the other, with an alphabet prefix before the model number?

I can think of one more, AWG-100 vs. AWG-M100. Also the GW-500 vs. GWM-500, but since it's pretty much the same as the MTG900.

I think you mean 'current time visible in CDT and Stopwatch'. While setting the alarm the rectangle shows ---- because you can set the day/month/year.
The 240 module DW-5000, 5200, and 5400 are the only squares with current time visible in ALL modes iirc.
