Following on from the success of the Classico U-47, Italo Fontana now adds a new version to the range, also in 47 mm, this time in bronze.

The designer’s passion for bronze has solid roots. It’s an ancient metal alloy resistant to corrosion often used in the arms and arts industries. Over time this metal eventually creates a patina, unique to each timepiece, evolving in different colors which Italo Fontana finds intriguing.

The new watch is available with a black dial, with indexes and spheres in beige superluminova. The watch runs on a Swiss automatic mechanical movement, with time only and date functions. The case-back is also in bronze, with a special anti-corrosion treatment, as well as a bronzed glass that reveals the inner mechanics.

The U-47 Bronze comes on a calfskin strap made and finished by hand with ancient and traditional Florentine leatherwork techniques.
