Hi Guys
I’m trying to find out about (and get repaired & cleaned) my elderly mothers wrist watch.
What I KNOW about it is
it what’s purchased for her 13th birthday in 1948.
It is gold
It has a “Unicorn “ face
It has “Handley 9...” on the band
I’ve seen a number of forums talk about these watches... but don’t profess to have any expertise in the subject. She stopped wearing it about 10 years ago because she can’t see the dial. And now doesn’t work( I’m too scared too try and intervene). Her one desire is to wear( and see) her mother’s gift and.
What I truly want is...
1. Someone professional in Western Australia ?? That I can get to fix / service / clean this watch.
2. Any information about the watch that I can share with an old lady about her childhood gift.
