Union timepieces appear to be unrepresented within these forum walls...maybe we can change that. Please join me in adding photos and descriptions/details of your watches by Union Glashütte

Nice topic,... hope many will follow. As mentioned before; really like your chrono Mike! Still looking for a Panorama Date from the same era.

Now we're talking! Those Bergter LE models are stunning. Wouldn't be surprised if the value has gone up on them as well.

The Bergter LE is stunning...isn't that when they still made their own beautiful in house movements?...love the crown as well.

Slightly off-topic:

There was a series of these Julius Bergter watches and all limited to honor this great watchmaker.
Well, yes it is in-house. As Union = ~Glashuette. They both used this movement. The only difference is the machined finished movement (cal. 30-05), which is less nice than the finishing of the Glashuette 1845 (cal. 49).

Here a picture of the 1845 with cal. 49:

The real nice thing about this movement is (as you can see) the winding. It is just soo remarkable smooth. Also pretty uncommon is the B/h of 28.800 and it has a hacking-function. For those really like this watch, check-out this great must-read review:
