I inherited a UK White Gold watch which i have been told is 9 Carot gold. It is Swiss made and has the make Burche Gued or Busche Gued on the face. Has anyone heard of this - its probably 1950's or older. Is it worth anything ?

Thanks.Brian.

Hi and welcome Brian,

If it's UK white gold then it will have a hallmark which will show the date. Ladies watches have little value but one like this has value as jewellery, not so much as a watch.

It says RCK and then 375 on the hallmark, with some letters after. What do you think its value is as Jewellery ?

Thanks.

We don't give valuations here and even if we did I wouldn't be able to give a valuation on jewellery.

Those letters would be the hallmark.

375 usually means 9 carat gold. Bueche-Girod was a maker who specialised in making elegant, expensive, watches - afaik usually in solid gold or other precious metals. If you google the brand you will find some for sale from dealers - you could try asking them for a valuation. As Mirius says, we don't attempt valuations in here - even for watches we know about - and yours is a very niche item.
