[Update: arrival pics in post #4]

Hi all:

I don't post here much, but I love much of what Seiko/Citizen do, and thought it appropriate given that I have one of each of the forum's namesakes inbound right now... I'll post some pics and thoughts after arrival, but I thought it was interesting that in the course of my pre-purchase research I found a pic of exactly the two models that a member had posted together (only difference being my zilla is coming on rubber). Appreciate everyone who's posted on these watches and their variants, I learned a lot reading them.

So here's a preview. Am really looking forward to trying both. The Caesar was a bit of a case of timing and impulse, they seem not to come up too much and it looks like a fun watch (colour wise) with some serious presence (size/depth) at the same time. And the Zilla is well known, but will be my first. Also have a black/grey stripe Maratac zulu coming for that to use on the Suppas.

Thanks "Bobby B." for the pic!

Cheers,
HBL

Re: Seiko-Citizen one two punch incoming (Caesar/Ecozilla)

Thanks for your posts and thoughts fellows... Just picked up the Caesar and it is indeed very comfortable and balanced. I actually don't mind rubber straps a lot of the time on dive/diver-like watches and I'm not really feeling a need to look for an alternative on this one. Here are a couple of phone pics, along with some of its Citizen brother that arrived a few days ago, which I'm very fond of as well. Think I have my substantial-sporty-capable-grab n go bases covered for a while!

P.S. For reference my wrist is about 7.5"

Cheers,
HBL
