It's been a month so far and its going good.

I tried the crown up/down thing and I belive that crown up is better than down for this one I got. After 6 days, it gained 1 minute 24 seconds (84 sec) or about 13-14 seconds a day. Now, I'm pretty sure that when I check in the evening, the gain was ~20-22 seconds per day. Most likely because of the crown-up thing.
I might adjust it in December to get it down less than 10 sec/day.

Solid watch, although I wouldn't have minded if they used green lume on the hour marks also. It's not an expensive watch so I'm not expecting certain things. The dial isn't truly black and when I looked at in bright sun, you can see grainy dots. Must be the paint they used. No problem for me. The watch works and it hacks.

The Milsub is a fun watch and pretty solid for the price. The only complaint I have with mine is that it has a nasty second hand stutter between about 10 and 25. Don't know about the accuracy of mine but I suspect its similar to yours.
I'm actually wearing mine right now. :)

It's called gravity ;-)

The second hand's falling down at the steepest angle between 10 and 25, because of the nature of the movement the pull of gravity causes the stutter. If you would rotate the watch 180 degrees (12 on bottom, 6 on top) the stutter will most likely appear between 40 and 55. It has something to do with how the second hand is driven, but I'm no expert on this matter, can't exactly explain to you what causes it's tendency to stutter.

Hey, you got an olive drab nato as well? Looks good. I got the stutter too but once I understood that it is an inherent trait in this "indirect" movement, it didn't bother me

Yeah, suits the watch perfectly doesn't it.
The stutter bothers me less than I would have thought it would. I just don't watch the watch.
