Hello everyone and thank you for reading.

My first wedding anniversary is coming up, and as my husband is an enthusiast of both Soviet-era artefacts and locomotives, I thought that this wristwatch would be a perfect gift. However, since browsing through this forum and Googling the supposed make and model, I'm concerned that this might possibly be fake or assembled from mismatched pieces.

The seller discribes it as 'Soviet USSR Watch Komandirskie Molnija Statin'. My research thus far tells me that this title is nonsense, but I would still be interested were this an authentic Soviet-era timepiece. Could anyone offer any input?

I've copied two of the pictures below.

Many thanks!

I am not an expert but my guess is you are spot on and this is a fantasy watch made up of various parts.

There seems to be something about this brand on eBay, I have yet to see a real one as they all seem to be made up of pocket watch movements then a new dial and case added. I guess if the look is more important that's great but it sounds like you are after a bit of Soviet history in which case I would enter "Zakaz" into the search field then show us ones you thinking your husband would like so the experts here can make sure it's a good one!
I say Zakaz as it has an interesting history in that it was only availible in military stores and for military personnel or their families ( though technically it's not a military issue watch.) I believe most if not all were made by Vostok.
Here is one from a respected ebay seller who is also a member here.
