I am new to collecting high end watches and i need some help on the UTS 600m watch. I like the look of it. I prefer the tri color one. Can anyone give me any information on what makes them so high and are they worth it? Where can I obtain it?:-s

The prices for UTS are spot on, IMO. Honestly, where else are you going to find a watch where the case is designed, machined, and assembled in-house by a single man for the prices UTS are charging (he also paints the lume on the dials)? As for the movements, they're top-grade ETAs that have been adjusted to 5-positions, and then timed (you get a timing slip in the box) by the same guy. And let's say you don't see exactly what you want on their website, what do you do? Simple, just give the owner a call and he'll help you customize your watch to the specifications you desire.

Here are some pics of mine:

Basically, for your money you're getting an in-house case, rugged, reliable movements, uniquely Teutonic design, and an unparalleled degree of personal attention and customer service. They're worth every penny, IMO.

So, how do you purchase one of the beauties? Easy. Visit www.utswatches.com, look up their phone number, and give them a call.

Adam

Oh yeah, it gets a bit sleepy in this forum, so if you want more opinions on UTS, post your query in the Dive Watch forum.

Adam

PS - UTS is tops, really. :-!

If you are looking for a big watch. This may be it. It is fairly high, and of course has the standard ETA movement. You may look at Steinhart or teh Arctos Marine Diver (if you like a yellow minute hand).
