Warrior and Valimor Ambassador Dustin Poirer

Valimor is a Hong-Kong based watch and jewelry brand whose initial watch line, Caliburnus, is now available .

The company was founded in 2017 with the goal of creating unique and original designs for watch enthusiasts the world over. Their 15 years of watch industry experience, spanning watch design and development as well as watch servicing and repairs, lead to the initiation of Valimor, automatic hand-tooled watches with a patented design.

The meaning behind the name Valimor comes from a combination of "valiant" and "armor'. With that notion, Valimor launches their original collection, Caliburnus, which takes its name from the legendary sword of King Arthur - Caliburn.

The brand philosophy revolves around the idea of equipping its wearer with a warrior masterpiece which can be confidently worn, bringing about a real sense of confidence to take on life's challenges.

Valimor's core focus is on harmonizing the old with the new. They have taken their inspiration from traditional eastern and western patterns and brought them to life by utilizing the latest technology. A truly masculine timepiece, designs are inspired by powerful symbolic elements found on ancient swords and armor. Each watch design is developed independently, making every piece individual in its own way.

Warrior features adorn Valimor timepieces throughout. Dragon elements are signified from the bezel engraved with dragon scales through to the dragon hide inspired leather strap; not to mention the hilt shaped metal strap buckle. The crown is shaped into a crown and jeweled with Swarovski crystal. The hands are sword-shaped by way of diamond-cut technology. All components are bought together by a talented team of designers and engineers with watch-making expertise, combining ancient elements with modern technology.

The Caliburnus casework is crafted from aged 316L stainless steel with PVD coating and measures 42mm on the wrist. There are three dial options available in the Caliburnus collection - Black Galaxy, Lapis Lazuli and Rainbow Jasper. The dial designs are inspired by the legendary story of King Arthur and the Sword in the Stone. Cut from jewelry-grade natural stones, no two watches are the same meaning each piece is truly one of a kind.

The Black Galaxy dial is constructed from natural black galaxy granite, the Lapis Lazuli features a natural blue lapis lazuli dial and the Rainbow Jasper dial, after its namesake, is cut from natural red rainbow jasper.

All Valimor Caliburnus watches are protected with AR coated sapphire crystal. The sword-shaped hands are highlighted with Swiss Super-LumiNova BGW9. The hour markers follow the edgy design of Valimor watches and also feature Super-LumiNova coating. A discreet date window appears at 3 o'clock, clear enough to read, but subtle enough to not distract from the general warrior theme of the watch.

Valimor watches are powered by a Miyota 821A automatic mechanical movement. The movement is decorated to match the exterior aesthetics, as evident in the rotor's detail. It contains 21 jewels and has a power reserve of 42 hours. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds and date.

Each Caliburnus watch is teamed with a rugged leather crocodile Hornback strap. Due to the rare nature of the crocodile Hornback, Valimor used state-of-the-art technology to 3D scan the skin's texture in order to achieve the real look in their top grain cowhide leather straps. What's more, the strap buckle design extends the sword theme, designed with the hilt of a sword in mind. It doesn't get more valiant than that!
