Hi I have a Valjoux 92 that is missing a round chrono pusher/tube and have been unable to source one for the year and a half iv had the watch.

I was wondering if anyone knew if the valjoux 92 can fit in any other valjoux case/dial. It would be great if someone can confirm it can go into a 7733 :)

thanks

That poor watch! The pusher is part of the case, and really should be a standard item?
Generally speaking, movements are very detailed as to placement of crown/ buttons laterally as well as longitudinally. It is quite difficult to do a transplant into a case that was not meant for that specific movement.

Have you looked at the forum sticky to do a watchmakers' search in your area?

as Daniel says, pushers are not movement-specific, whatever your current watchmaker tells you.
finding a pair of fitting pushers for this case should be quite easy, you "only" need a competent watchmaker to work on it.

At the very least, you'd need a bigger movement holder ring. The Valjoux 92 is 13''', the Valjoux 7733 is 14''' so there will be spare room in the case. At least the movement height is the same (6mm). After that, it's down to the exact position of the winding stem (relative to movement height) and pushers, the question of which dial you will use and how you will manage the question of either the smaller dial or the different sized holes for the hands, etc.
