It's a Venus 175 movement in very bad condition, with some missing and broken parts, I believe. Not military, incorrect hands and crown. Retrofitted lugs bars. Probably from the 1940s. The reference and serial numbers may be on the case-back.

I principle a chronograph like this could be of interest to collectors, but this one is in very rough shape.

Just out of curiosity, @watch.expert.krd, are you a dealer?
Not much of a watch expert if he needs to ask all these questions on a lot of watches he's asking for help with. Just sayin

I'm not a dealer. as you may have noticed - I know absolutely nothing about old chronographs, as well as do not know how to repair and restore them. I saw this watch on sale and decided to ask about it here - maybe the price is low enough to make some money on it.

It’s very dirty, some parts are visibly broken, and as others have pointed out, the hands are wrong

Personally I wouldn’t buy a watch in that state as it needs a service and likely a lot of replacement parts as it has been neglected

Hands can be a tricky item to source, and surprisingly expensive

It’s hard to see how you can price the watch to cover these costs and make a profit

If I *loved* the design, I might look for a better cared for one, and get it serviced for my own use. But making a profit on doing one up would need a better condition watch bought for a song, serviced/ repaired by an affordable and competent watchmaker imo

I thought one of the main meanings of this forum is sharing information and getting information I don't know from professionals on every particular issue (which here is called a "thread")
Yes, but the primary focus is a give and take between collectors who appreciate and enjoy watches. Mostly, we are not professionals, but I think that it might be more appropriate for you to pay a professional for the type of advice you are trying to get, since you are trying to use information from the forum to make money.

This is just my own personal opinion, but I don't really appreciate the approach ... "I don't know anything about watches, so I'd like to exploit the forum's expertise, for free, so I can flip watches for a profit." There's no rule against it, but I don't think it's really consistent with the spirit of the forum. People who buy and sell for profit are called dealers, and they are expected to be "experts" in fact, not just in name.
