Recently came images of this watch from the 60's and early 70's on the internet. It immediately appealed to me...and what should show up on e-bay a little while later?

There were many versions of this watch. Nivada was the parent company with Croton being the US distributor. This watch was manufactured between 1963 and 1970.

There were many movements available over the years - mine is a Valjoux 23. It's in very good shape - very pleased with my purchase.

Classic! :-!:-! Love the way they cover all the bases with "Aviator" and "Sea Diver".

It's a watch with many names. I think they ran out of space on the dial.;-)

I really like the small spash of red on the minute counter.

Another Valjoux 23 says hello....

Very nice...

My next step is to pop the back and take a few shots...
