hi again guys,

I have just started getting into vintage seikos and have heard a number of names flying about - bullhead, bellmatic, cushion case divers; however i would really appreciate it if someone could outline some of the more prominent and collectible vintage seiko peices, possibly with pictures attached, as a reference for anyone starting a collection of vintage seiko peices

(if this isnt a good idea, feel free to tell me)

Easy answer. Check out the Seiko Watch Photo Database. You will find it already arranged by watch and caliber types. also check out the Seiko Branding Dictionary which will explain the difference between different seiko brands, sub brands, model lines and corporate entities.

After you've digested all that information, if you still have specific questions for common terms not included in either link (for example Bullhead - a chronograph with the crown at 1200 and pushers at either side like horns on a bull), just ask and we will be happy to answer those.
