From my limited knowledge.
Movement number puts it at 1952
Dial and case looks like Norfolk however hands not so according to Watch Resources site.
I believe the 23z movement was a common longines movement and very reliable .
I do not believe case back is original hence the added horrible movement holder .
Whats with missing case backs for longines? I have two Longines with 23z /23zs movements without case backs.

So that's what that plate is LOL!!

Could it be possible it interferes with the movement?? I should take it off??

Just came across it at a local flea market this morning!!
