Hi,

I bought this vintage seamaster 10 years ago and wondered if anyone knew its age? I'd estimate 60s but not sure. I'd be interested to know value as well, not that i want to sell - its a lovely timepiece.

byt, i have recently set up a fan site for omega planet ocean, still in progress www.omega-planet-ocean.com

Hi,

To date an Omega is very easy if you have a serial number which you can find on the movement.
Therefore you have to remove the back plate with a proper tool.

I think that you have to do a search on commercial sites to get an indication about
the value, try the sellers part of WUS, the bay or chrono24.

ps. Here you can find some rules about valuation: https://www.watchuseek.com/f11/vintage-watch-valuations-read-first-7-rules-67379.html

Photo is very lo-res, too, so any evaluation would be hard to do.
Looks like a 60s pie pan from what I can see. Prices are all over the board on these depending on how original it is.
