Hi! I’d like to know if it is possible to regulate the strap of this vintage Orient. Someone says it should be cut...what do you think about?

That looks like a slip-through buckle, so why the need to cut it? Plus, the band tapers so if you cut off too much it won't fit through the buckle.

I'm agreeing w/ you, it must have to be trimmed on one or both ends. I'm guessing the end caps can be opened/removed? Could be a 'dealer only' adjustment, there was no online or mail order sales when the watch was produced.

I believe the symbol at 6 was used to denote quartz movements in the early years of the quartz revolution.
