I so wanted a Girard Perregaux watch for my collection but always they went to high or if cheap they were missing too much. Finally I won one and it arrived this morning. I won it for 67 USD bidding on ebay. The watch crystal was so scratched you could hardly see the dial BUT after much polishing it came out fine! The watch would not win and the problem was the spring in the winder works under the dial has slipped out and would not engage it to wind the watch. I wind it one turn and it comes to life!!! Now I know it has problems like the teeth missing on the gear thing but I dont care i finally got one! Now before I go further into service this watch I need to know if it is real, I think it is but I value this boards knowledge dearly so please let me know.

Sorry for pictures my camera died before I could take anymore.

It is done and keeping amazing time. Probably my most successful service job yet as it seems to keep almost perfect time with the regulator smack in the middle! Please any information would be great.
