I've got a couple of the vintage Stowa's. Does anyone know if the PUW 1461 movement is the same size as the 1561? 1461 pic below (with reflection of course.) ;-)

Thanks!

Paul

PUW 1561:
11.5 lines, diameter= 25.6mm, height = 5.1mm

Same size so far which doesn´t mean that they will fit any case !

Here´s a very similar watch I fetched on a flea market some years ago:

You read my mind. I've also got a slightly later Seatime that's missing it's bezel and I've had absolutely no luck in finding a replacement or even something that will fit. I wear this watch daily, hence the scratches, but love the dial which my old eyes can read easily. As a last resort I'm considering swapping the movement with dial to the other case or just the dial if it will fit. I hate to part a perfectly good watch out but it annoys me to wear one with a missing bezel.

Thanks!

Paul

Hi gtopaul !

Great to see that your vintage Seatime is now complete.
I own myself one vintage Seatime without bezel :-( and desperatly looking to find this missing part. May I ask where did you find the bezel?

My other two vintage Saeatime are complete, but do not want to change bezels backward and forward as it is not as convinient and the spring might get demaged.

Any hint would be highly appreciated. :thanks

It was really a bit of luck. I bought four bezels off of Ebay for $5 a few months ago. I dug them out and found that one would go around the crystal of my Seatime but not around the spring retainer. I carefully used a knife blade to scrape a little material from the underside of the bezel until it fit flush on the case and the spring went in without problem. Like I said, a little bit of luck. :)

Regards.
