Very excited about my latest watch I just paid too much for ;-)
Been wanting a vintage steel chrono for awhile.

I plan to have this fully serviced and cleaned up, plus a new strap (any thoughts on a suitable strap?) Watch is working, apart chrono hand fallen off.

A bit of work for my watchmaker, but can't wait to have her done.

Any thoughts or info would be muchly appreciated.
Cheers

I think it will clean up well. The case appears to be SS and still sharp, and your watchmaker should be able to find replacement parts for the movement.

Minor point, but I am scratching my head about the locations of the lume dots on the dial. It's just doesn't look right to me, but on the other hand, I can't figure out where they should be. Maybe somebody decided to add lume to a dial that didn't have any originally.

Well I have got my Valgine back from my watchmaker, and she looks gorgeous, hard to express how nice she came up.
Here are a few pics (the first pic was taken with a long exposure, making the second hand disappear. I shat myself when looked at the photo before i realized what had happened)
