Hi,

I've got a soft spot for the Molnija movements. I love their look and loud ticking sound. Are there any other legitimate, vintage, wristwatches than the Ural that uses this family of movements? Ive got two Ural's and a modern Moscow Classic powered by the 36XX series, so I would like to know if there's anything else out there I should keep an eye on.

Thanks!

Ah, the Buran Siberia. It's a very nice-looking piece. I had my eyes on one before getting my M.C Shturmovik. I may have to try and find one - they are no longer in production I assume?

Didn't know that - thanks for the info.

I noticed R2A has some Siberias with Poljot 3105 movements. I assume these were produced after the Molnijas went out of production? Anyway, that movement is plain ugly compared to any Molnija, so that's a no-go ;-)
