It's easily available on ebay for $300+ but I don't know if it is decent quality or worth the money? I really like the design but don't want to end up with a dud!

It is a Seiko quartz movement. I doubt you would have any problems with it at all.

Volmax is a very respected Russian brand. They have been forced to move away from Russian-made movements though, so almost all of their current offerings use foreign movements. But they're known to have have top-notch quality control. I doubt you'd be disappointed.
