Hi all,

I have a question about the automatic mechanism of the Vostok Europe Gaz 14 Limousine. Sometimes, whenever I look at the watch, the seconds hand stops for a fraction of a second. More generally, if the watch is moved suddenly (or lightly hit) _then_ the seconds hand stops, for a fraction of a second or more. The shop representative (and guy from the "official" service) told me that it is because of a anti-shock mechanism ... It seems very strange and because of my hectic schedule I didn't had the time to get a second opinion.

So I turn to you all, what's the verdict?

Thanks in advance

I too have heard this is somewhat common for these watches. You might re-post this in the "Russian" watch section for more responses.
