I was looking at a 60s Vostok Precision that had the following case back that I did not understand. It had dustproof, etc language all in English while the dial side was in Russian. I also noticed the jewel count is in English as well. Is this authentic and if so what story goes with it? Many thanks.

I see, this is a marriage of an export movement and case back with a domestic dial and handset. Thanks very much.

Yea. Your watch is more of an export model: back and movement are from export. Dial is a local model. As you see the movement is in much better state than the dial. Not sure what happened to the original dial but somehow this dial was paired with the watch. For a full authenticity you need to find an export dial (with matching hands). If we overlook the export movement, then you can opt in to find a Cyrillic back and call it: done.
