Welcome back, it's nice to have you again in this neurotic world of ours. I hope you see what you've done. You've written an absolute classic. This is, and I really mean it, the best post I've ever read about watch collecting. If you're not a writer, you should seriously consider to become one.

Quite a set of mirrors you got here. There is one for everybody of us to look into. Or as Sjors put it, maybe more than one. Be as it may, they are all amazing.

Your contribution to brevity is outstanding as well. From now on posters on watch forums will quote Tribe's 50. "Hey, man, that guy really deserves a Tribe 41", "Welcome to the forum, nice Tribe 18 you got there. Now you're just lacking the 3 Polisario variations. They pop up on the Bay once in a while", "Tribe 48, you were missed this 10 days, man; nice to see you posting again about your delusion of getting over this", "Well, you know your Tribe 35 needs a non-reflective strap now, don't you?".

A classic, Tribe, fifty classics.

I really didn't know how it would be received. I thought it might be too 'English' somehow - that the oblique logic and humour might not come across properly to people who didn't have English as a first language.

Seems to have worked out OK.
