Can't say I'm 100% satisfied, but it was fun. Maybe try again and do better at cutting the foam (cheap from nearby surplus store). Maybe make different pillows because the paint rollers don't let the leather bands lie flat at top and bottom like oval pillows that are taller than they are thick.

My watch box came with 2 dozen little beige pillows that I threw in a drawer and don't use. My kid took them. He said his dinosaurs were tired and needed to sleep lol

Otto Frei has watch pillows of various descriptions for way cheap. Never seen them on their website but in their brick & mortar they have them by the scads. They're on my shopping list for the next time I stop by Frei's.
