A few minutes ago while trying to set my Seiko 007 I discovered that I cannot set the day or date :-(. Of course I want to get the watch repaired if possible. I was wondering if there were any Bay Area (more specifically East Bay) forum members who know/use a reliable watch repair shop. I did a quick search of Yelp/Yellow Pages and none of the shops listed seemed like they would be suitable.

I plan on contacting the Seiko Customer Service Center tomorrow, but since their U.S. center seems to be in New Jersey I would prefer not to send it away if I can avoid it.

Well, if you don't mind schlepping down to Santa Clara, there's The Tick Tock Shop. Give Jason Lorist a call at
408 - 248 - 6939.

Thanks for the replies...I'll be sure to check those shops out if I don't hear back from Seiko soon.
