Probably the year he was "born"? :think:It's a 1973 Timex. There's some reason for him wearing it, but I forget if that was ever discussed when the watch was identified.
+1 ;-)probably the year he was "born"?
Doh! Missed this earlier - it is a stretch metal band, looks like a Speidel.I really like the bracelet...
You seem to be right, plus the case seems different too :think:I must respectfully challenge the notion that Dexter wears a 1973 Timex on the show. Perhaps my obsession with finding this watch exceeded the rest of you sane folks, but I spotted one online, pulled the trigger on it-- and was disappointed when it arrived that the case simply does not have the same traits. No "ring bezel". Not sure what the technical term of a non-moving bezel that surrounds the crystal is called. On my Timex there's no ring surrounding the acrylic.
Unless there were different case styles of the 1973- this isn't our match.
Keep looking!

:-dA different crown, also.
ANyway - I noticed Dexter's watch, but couldn't figure out what it was. However, my wife like to remind me that it is the same watch over and over by saying, "See, Dexter doesn't need 10 different watches."
Ugh. Backfire.
IWC Yacht Club. My best guess to date.... in case anyone else is still struggling with this one. (or is as crazy as I am).
In some of the flashback sequences, you can see his father wearing the same watch. It's a nice touch that they put in.It's a 1973 Timex. There's some reason for him wearing it, but I forget if that was ever discussed when the watch was identified.
You're just getting to the end of season 1? Man, you're in for a ride.Did anyone ever figure this out? Getting towards the end of season 1.
edit, nevermind... Looks like it was the Waltham. Missed the link.
