Watches and Wonders 2023 - What are your predictions / hopes?

With the event around the corner (which I now get nerdily excited about), I'm curious to know what everyone is hoping for. Or, if you have a prediction, feel free to share!

For me, I'm really hoping for a 44mm Bronzo

And hoping that IWC goes back to the baton style hands with a revival of the Tribute to Mark

But, I'm a realist and Panerai will probably announce e-straps with a horrible logo on the strap and IWC will just show some crazy over the top movement that Tom Cruise will wear in the space movie on the ISS.

What about you guys? Share some photos when applicable (ie: revival of X watch)

I do hope Tudor will re release the Submariner…at a reasonable price and more to the point in numbers so that it is available to actually buy.

Was that a pig I just saw fly by…

Not to get off topic of the purpose of the thread, my point with Chanel is they have a crazy product breadth and their roots are not in watchmaking. It's neat that they have now made an in-house caliber, but for me - just not my choice. I'm also not into brands that put their logo all over handbags/shoes. Chanel on that list sticks out like a sore thumb to me. But, I'm sure they move plenty of units.
Didn't Hermes have a watch with a micro rotor a few years back that drew a lot of attention? Also Bvlgari's Octo range is a notable mention when talking about watches from fashion brands.
I don't know a lot about watches from high end fashion brands.

Sure, they can produce a legit watch, but they are a fashion brand ranging from fragrance, handbags, shoes, clothing, sunglasses ect. I might be wrong here but do any others on that list do that? Would be my last choice when it comes to a timepiece at that price point.
Hermes, Montblanc. Like others have said

Id like to think Cartier, Chopard, Van Cleef & Arpels bring in more revenue each year selling stuff that isn't watches.

Hmmm, no Omega - I wanted to ask for the Spirate in more movements and models.

Grand Seiko - Please put the 9RA2 in a nice and thin dive watch! Or use it to create a snowflake v3, keep the dial and titanium case, but PR on the back.

I want all brands to stop with the excessive use of fauxtina, heritage, back catalog, etc and figure out what a nice clean modern watch looks like in 2023. Take a risk, do something innovative.

Hope: That one day Tudor will listen to their fan base and ditch the faux riveted bracelets and offer slimmed down versions of all their 41mm Black Bay models.

They don't want to give you what you/we all want, they want to give you what they want.

Strange attitude but it seems to work for them

As always, for Omega to re-release the 2504.52 Railmaster (36mm) with updated tech, and with appropriate length lugs and not too thick.

Like others have mentioned I can imagine a white dial Explorer I, but I think it's equally likely that it gets a green dial.

Rose gold Explorer-available with a black or white dial
Yellow gold Hulk
Orange dial Submariner
Retro Paul Newman Daytona
I’d like to send an Oris BCPD with an ink black dial or a ceramic white dial.

There are plenty of Innovative, fresh watches out there. Those are the ones that don't sell.

No but they do make frames, sunglasses, cufflinks, jewelery, etc
And fragrances
Isn't that the Harrod's edition?
Harrod's is the larger 41mm case.

A smaller Tissot PRX. The watch is amazing. It's just difficult to wear with the first end links measuring around 52mm. Other than that, awesome piece with amazing variety of color.

Not sure why the "lol" at Chanel. The J12 is a legit watch.
As is the Monsieur.
