I've always thought that Sevenfriday watches have a lot of the spirit of Richard Mille, without being direct homages. They're also an atrocious value for their price bracket, just like Richard Mille . . .

Not trying to take anything away from the $100k++ watches. However what models are you looking into for an alternative? My choice is the Franck Muller Vanguard Yachting which is around $8k
