Hello All,

I have recently notice that there are watermarks on the AR of the crystal of my U1 even after drying the water after a wash.
I have tried rubbing the watermarkings out vigourously with cloth and washing the crystal with soap but I cannot seem to get it out.
Do any other Sinn owners in this forum have the same problem ?
Do anybody have any solution to my problem without "harming" the AR of the crystal ?
I appricate any solutions you might have to offer .

Cheers!

use some gentle soap to wash and rinse the glass - should work.
If not the AR may be corroded...

Often the AR coating on my watches needs quite a bit of care to remove watermarks. If they do not go away, maybe there's some kind of acid on the crystal?

Hi Altrality ,

I followed your advice using soap and water to wash the Crystal but it is to no avail, the watermarkings are still there, I even tried rubbing the surface hard with a piece of cloth during the wash.
Anyone out there have anymore suggestions or should I just bring it back to my AD to have it fix ???

Cheers

I spritz a bit of glass cleaner on mine and use a paper towel.
That should work fine.
If not, you may have some sort of chemical burn as stated above.
