My Wempe is back.......again, and as far as I can see it's running well.
I'm glad to see that good service is still possible, my contact at Wempe E-mailed me every day with an update, and told me the mainspring was "verklebt" (stuck?) and their first service was carried out correctly.
The problem must have occured in the post.
They had 2 presents in the form of some jazz cd's (I'm a keen jazz lover) and apologized again.
So...........Daddel is a happy man

Glad to hear it went well and that they took care of you. Sounds like some good customer service.:-!

Yep: stuck or agglutinated. Good to hear the watch is back.

Thanks guys,

Now perhaps trying to save up for one of the new Wempe (Nomos) models?
If they only wouldn't be so expensive.
