What’s your exit watch? Do exit watches exist?

I’ve been thinking about splurging on a watch and the idea of an exit watch came up. Is there a watch that would make you log off from WUS? Do you believe such a watch exists for anyone?

I have over fifty watches, so my exit watch is the one where my wife catches me...and totally exists me :)

I purchased an exit watch 15 years ago, a Rolex GMT Pepsi. It was my only watch for 10+ years and I didn't keep up on new watch models at all during that time. Then a co-worker got into watches and he sucked me back in. In the last 4 years I've purchased a few dozen watches. No plan on making another exit, but I've learned exits can be temporary.

No reason to leave WUS but I have my exit watch. Am not looking for any other everyday wear. Will be finding more to keep I'm sure but do not foresee replacing this ever.

I feel "exiting" (stop buying) is more of a personal choice, and have less to do with particular aspects of one "exit watch". Although there are other watches with other aspects I could like/want, I choose to like and be content with what I got.

e.g. I've been wanting blue dial diver, but choose to be happy with green dial diver that I have. I sell it to myself, e.g. tell myself the green dial shows through better than blue, against reflection of crystal. So I feel less like I want another watch, and feel more content with what I got, by selling what I got to myself. Or I've been wanting the look of another handset, but sell the one I have to myself, by telling myself mine is nicer, with chamfer edges. Hey, if I have the better watch, why buy another? haha

I've been collecting for 14 years. I have sold them all off and consolidated at least 2 times. I made a vow the last time to own no more than 6 watches. I'm at 12 now with 2 on the way. I was going to consolidate again, but I finally love what I own so much I will never be able to flip what I own. I have great memories assocated with many of them. There is no final watch. Ugh.
