WOW tempted myself as it would be another birth year watch. as for the price, well its a number at the end of the day, does it tick all the boxes if yes go for it. I will just add go find another in that condition in a box ?

Cal 354 from 1964? I thought Cal 354 was from the mid 50's. Is it a typo? Also, as nice as that looks, I can't see over $3k for a gold-capped Constellation. Seems grossly overpriced to me.

Well it seems to be Cal 354. Having a look at http://www.omegawatches.com/planet-omega/heritage/vintage-omegas/vintage-watches-database , it seems the 354 only was used 1952-1954.
I'll ask the seller for additional information.

Probably just a typo. Typed 64 and meant 54.
Still, I'd check some completed eBay auctions to see what the current prices are. Seems awfully high to me.

That's double the highest price I've ever seen for gold capped Connie.

The seller has confirmed it's a caliber 354 and when I asked about the 1964 year model I was referred to a homepage saying "more or less" that it's a 1964.
He didn't want to confirm my question whether the caliber had been exchanged but I guess, there is really no other way. :-(

I don't like the fact that the case back no is hidden in the pics, also the strap is from a more modern watch. The price seams way to high. I personally would pass.
