What do you think. Will Rolex ever release Sprite for right handed people?

People with more history knowledge about Rolex. Do you think they will ever release the Sprite with crown on the right?
Of all GMT II i always liked Pepsi the most. But when Sprite came out, it became my favourite. I think it would look stupid on left hand and i can't make myself wear it on right.
+ grey price is very, very high (much over 20k).

Highly unlikely.

Rolex already have two standard offerings in this category, BLRO and BLNR so where is the motivation for a third. No I think it will remain in this format during possibly a shortish production run.

Grey prices are falling quite quickly in the UK now for this piece as supply improves, the novelty wears off and some early adopters have flipped for profit.

Being their first and only lefty watch, I don't think Rolex will ever make it with a crown on the right and make it lose its uniqueness as a milestone watch. Wearing it on my left wrist is a constant reminder of its quirkiness that makes me smile every time I look at it; I got mine more than a year ago, I still enjoy it as much as the first day, and believe me, you will too. I suggest you start working on getting one, I have the feeling it won't stay in production too long. P.S.: I have a Pepsi too, the Sprite blows it out of the water with a fizz 😄

Why? Wearing on the left it stops the crown digging into the back of your hand for starters. Admittedly adjustment isn't easy unless you wear it on the right.

Agree with the comment about the date window. Just makes it look more like it's upside-down.

Wouldn't a Sprite have yellow somewhere? I thought this was called the Riddler.

To answer the question, I think that there is a high likelihood that they make a right handed version. But only after they discontinue the LHD version which I expect to happen sooner than later to keep its numbers limited.

I doubt it - probably a unique piece that may only be with us for a while, and only in it's current configuration.

And the placement of the cyclops and date make perfect sense for a lefty, which I am. The placement gives those who wear watches in their right hand a taste of how the right-handed world looks at a Rolex cyclops dial and crystal.

I've had mine for a couple of months and wouldn't change thing...

Is it sad that I enver noticed the date placement until you said that, and now it bothers me....Makes sense for a lefty like you said though.

Agreed it seems unlikely that they would flip this watch, but time will tell.

For folks that normally have a crown digging into their hand: I’ve heard that this means you’re wearing the watch on your hand, not your wrist. If you want to fix it without switching to Sprite, moving your watch past your wrist bone and see if that helps. Took me a little getting used to at first but it’s the most comfortable way for me now.

My thought with Rolex is that when the quirk happens , they never change it. Which would mean they never release it with a right side crown. You pursue the watch because it's a quirk, and when it's gone it's gone. It doesn't seem to be limited, there are 483 listings on C24 today, of which probably half are just fishing and will procure if needed, , 87 listed on Ebay today.

I thought surely you meant all ceramic GMT total. Nope. You're absolutely correct. Hilarious.

Should be fun to watch. Is it really "market price" if the market is flooded with them at that price and the sale velocity is staler than last weeks pizza crusts?

Why would it look stupid? I’m a lefty and wear all of my pieces on my right hand. None of them are destro.

If you can acquire a Sprite, do it.
