My wife bought a SkyScan Atomic Clock 86722 some years back at Sam's Club. It no longer works. What would be a suitable replacement. It looks like it was manufactured by La Crosse Technology.

My local Sam's Club carries one that looks like it is the LaCrosse S74870. Do those have a good reputation?

I've seen La Crosse products for years and I believe they were one of the early entrants into the "Atomic" or longwave radio controlled clock market. For $32.99 at Sams Club I don't think you could go wrong.
The NIST has a lot of about the time signal broadcasts on their website. Included is a list of companies that make "Atomic" clocks in the VBC column. La Crosse and Oregon Scientific are two names that I've seen over the years. The NIST site also has signal propagation maps and suggestions that can be helpful.
