I've seen La Crosse products for years and I believe they were one of the early entrants into the "Atomic" or longwave radio controlled clock market. For $32.99 at Sams Club I don't think you could go wrong.
The NIST has a lot of about the time signal broadcasts on their website. Included is a list of companies that make "Atomic" clocks in the VBC column. La Crosse and Oregon Scientific are two names that I've seen over the years. The NIST site also has signal propagation maps and suggestions that can be helpful.

Seiko and Citizen make good ones for a good price.

I have a Seiko GPS sync model from Japan. This uses the satellites to sync the clock as long as it is with in 50 feet of a window
