Pretty much every watch I've ever owned with a 6497 or 6498 movement ran very well. Some needed to be regulated, but then I could keep them within a few seconds of perfect for as long as I kept it wound. Those movements tend to run a bit faster when set down dial up and a bit slower crown up. At night I would see if it was fast or slow and set it down for the night accordingly. There were not just Panerai watches. Those are my favorite movements.
