My two metas omegas are probably right there as well, but I don’t check them nearly as regularly since I know what to expect. The Hamilton is more surprising.

Same for me. My Khaki King is a few seconds over many weeks if I keep it wound.

Until quartz watches became a thing most people would have been extremely happy to own a watch that runs within 1 minute per day. These days folks don't realize how awful things were before quartz for the average Joe. Precision came at a substantial price, whereas the "accuracy" of affordable watches was not measured in seconds but more minutes per day. Setting the time once a day was as normal as winding the watch. Unthinkable today.

 

My submariner. I’ve had it 5 months, and it’s within 2-3 seconds.

 

Right now my Pelagos, it looks to be gaining about 2 seconds a day when I wear it. Still can't beat my Oris Aquis when it was newer though, when I used to wear that one every day there was a 3 month period where it was off by one second. Probably lucky, but still shocked the hell out of me.

 

Yeah man, my two Aquis are sometimes my most accurate. My Explorer 2 gets the most wrist time, so it gets more entries in the watch tracker app which makes a difference in it's error rate versus sitting on a winder or in a box.

 

I honestly don't know. If by factory specs, I guess my Datejust should be, but I've never measured any of them. They all seem to be fairly accurate to within a few seconds a day. Beyond that, not really interested.

Most of my 7 mechanicals seem accurate but I actually don't have a clue. I haven't ever measured and don't plan to.

 

A couple of my Citizen Signatures always run within COSC spec, regardless of wrist position, activity, weather, etc.

 

For pocket watches, this, as it's currently keeping the same time as my Citizen 0100 after 5 consecutive months:

For wristwatches, the non-chronometers tend to do better than the chronometer rated ones in my stable. At the moment, the most accurate is the Holy Grail, though the old Speedy is a VERY close second. I think it's because my watchmaker has seen and attended to both; to be honest, if the movement is good, then anything can be accurate if it's been looked at properly and worn consistently.

Straight from Omega Servicing: all have been accurate but not 'tight'. Their tolerances are far wider than my own, so I leave them as approximate (i.e. within COSC).

 

The STP-1-11 movement in this microbrand watch is currently at -0.1666 spd with over a week of wearing it.

Not pictured but my Orient Mako II (F69xx movement) get’s around that mark too with prolonged wear. It has never been opened and running in that manner since day 1 which was many years ago now.

Perhaps not surprising, but my most accurate all-mechanical is the newest, a 3861 Speedy, which has been about +1 second every couple days when on the wrist.

 

Two of mine are within 1spd:
Muhle Panova (modified sw200)
Citizen Signature NB0040 (Miyota 9011)

 

My Omega 300M is 5-10s/week.

 

The Aqua Terra I’ve been wearing since Monday morning (so a little over 3 days) is running dead on. It’s not unusual for my SMP to run in that range, either.

Last time I checked it was the Porsche Design Dashboard chrono, closely followed by the Archimede Outdoor and Genesis Aura. But I don't care that much for accuracy, so I don't check that very often.

 

The ones not running. They are precisely -0/+0 exactly twice a day.

 

All time my Planet Ocean 8500. I never actually bothered to track it because it didn't gain/lose enough time that I'd have to adjust it over months. There would be the rare time when I didn't wear it long enough (switched to a sports watch or whatever) and it would run down. Otherwise never adjusted it.

 

I cannot express the accuracy in one number.

A 56 Grand Seiko that gains about 1 second a week.

 

Since acquiring around July 15th of this year, over 40 days or so my Pelagos has lost 2 seconds. If it’s 24 seconds slow next July 15th I’ll be thrilled.
