1. I set three alarms in a row to wake me up in the morning. (I usually get up after the first one)
2. atomic solar (It's like a self sustained robot. Love it, love it, love it!!)
3. auto EL. ( I love this function. can't live without it)
4. hourly signal. (it's like a progress report throughout the day)
5. countdown timer (3 minutes for water to boil. 4 minutes to cook the ramen noodles.)

I am really liking the GW 3000b design but the lack of multiple alarms, hourly signal, and countdown timer is keeping me from buying one. I am leaning toward the GW 9200...

:-d|>|> - big fan of those too :-!. I even wanted to do a thread on them: 'cup noodles - the shockhead's choice' :-d:-d. I think it was member 'Jedi' who first brought up the idea that to finance all those Gs you'd have to eat a lot of cup-noodles :-d.

Re: What the the top 5 features you use in your G ? Plus

The Top 5
1. Time
2. Solar
3. Atomic
4. Tide Graph
5. You can beat the living $h%t out of it.

Top 5 Needed Features

1. Off remote switch for the wife, screaming children and other annoying people

2. Taser with powerful 500,000 volt electrode firing mechanism for use with no.1 and no. 3

3. B.S. detector - automatically displays level of B.S. present in local environment.

4. X ray video display to view things that intrigue and or please me.

5. Pause Button - real life pause button that freezes / unfreezed the current time and space. Allowing execution of specialized tasks i.e. give the boss an atomic wedgie, getting a closer look at that hot chick, flicking your cigarette ashes in the mouth of that annoying person you just paused who pegged the B.S. meter on the watch etc.

O.k. so I'm a little twisted at times...... I'll manage :-s :-d

Top Five

1:Toughness-don't worry about kids playing with it dropping it etc...
2:Alarm (snooze function works great)
3:Atomic function and it never fails to sync
4:Countdown timer various to sport and cooking!
5:Solar, no worries about draining the battery

And that ladies and gentleman is why i own a GW-M5600 because it does everything i need it to do and nothing i don't!!

Cheers

in no specific order, because i find them all equally important:

el-backlight, countdown, stopwatch, hourly chime, alarm(s)

not much use for worldtime, but mostly set to gmt (london) or kabul.

cheers

Hmmm, difficult to choose only 5, so with a little cheating:

Timekeeping
Barometer
Stopwatch
Countdown timer
EL

And now for the cheating, the below two features I use a lot, but since they're just there doing their job and dont call for my attention, they didnt went to the top-five:

Radio controll
Solar

Seems like I look at the date more than I do the time.
Definitely the alarms. I like the multifunction alarms so that I can set them to remind me of important things like doctor's appointments, and when Yankee games start.

I use
1. Stopwatch - a lot, timing my journey, baby's sleep
1a. Stopwatch 2 - currently - "own time"
2. EL - obviously
3. Countdown - workouts

I am wondering though if you have any sensible uses for the 1000hrs stopwatch - thank God there are two of them on my 7900; I stsrted one of them the evening I got the package with the watch, so I see exactly how much time I've owned it, but when that finishes, what?
