Hi, there. I am looking to find the watch brand for this case. I received this as a heir loom from my grandfather and I remember that it had a blueish oister dial as a child. I know it was made sometime in the 70's and all I can go by is the insignia on the crown. I would love to find the brand so as to bring this watch back to life. I appreciate your help and or ideas. I will be looking for a dial as well as its movement mechanism once I am able to establish the make.

Larger pics of crown with pics of full case shots will help.

Judging by what I THINK is stylized "P", I am guessing Perrelet?

Bigger pictures and more angles would definitely help, as would a clearer picture of the crown. Having said that, I'll wager that the case is a champagne coloured tungsten carbide. If you post better pictures I may be able to help based on that.

Thanks hpark21. I looked it up but the insignia is not as pronounced as a P. it looks like a J to me. I could be wrong though. I'm trying to post more pics of the case

So a regular tungsten carbide case then. I do not recognise the J. Rado started making TC cases in 1962 and many manufacturers dabbled in it during the 1970s/80s. I'll check on the other watch forum I frequent.

That is a Roamer. Roamer was one of numerous brands to collaborate with Rado during the 70s. One can also find Certina, Longines, Mido and a few other brands with tungsten cases from that era. The symbol on the crown is the Roamer "r".
