What year is this Laco Sport

Hi, New to the forum, I just picked up this Laco Sport's watch, which I believe is from the 1940's, but others have said it's from the 50's or 60's.
I know it needs a new strap and glass, but it keeps great time.
It has a 526 movement, and it's number is 912437.
Any help in dating this Laco would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for the reply, and information, Unfortunately there is no Laco symbol on the movement, here are some more photo's

Will it be difficult to have the glass replaced in the UK?

Yes, I asked Laco, but they couldn't tell me anything about the watch.:-(
