Well it was late at night when I took the shot and I didn't feel like setting up the light box; I didn't have much light in the kitchen, so the actual pic was pretty crappy...

So I just put it through photoshop's "fresco" edit, and that did the trick. 2 seconds tops

Liz, that yellow face is striking. I like it better than the Hob Nail faced one you posted on the the Anonimo board. Bit by the Anonimo bug were ya?

Liz, I really like the yellow dial and the gray nato! Nice color combo and one you don't see everyday for sure!

As far as the SOA wearing a bit small on my big Popeye's, although the pic makes it look a little smaller than it really is, I think the size is just about right. I've kinda gotten away from trying to cover the top of my wrist with a big old bead blasted chuck of SS. I like to see a little strap on top these days. I do really like the size of the LSD and AD, but I just can't warm up to the Fricker bezel design, a bit too much play IMO. Maybe it's a design intent for use at depth, but I'll stick with my tight Doxa bezel for now.

I think watch size to wrist size ratio has lot to do with what you get used to as well. You've been wearing that big ole Rolex DS and it's warped your perspective. LOL! :-d

I owe you guys some better pics of the strap. Jeanna really did a nice job on it.

Actually Dan, i've sized down.

The Rollie DSSD is actually sized exactly like a SEAL, it's just 2mm higher, but the dial and bezel are no wider. It's not that large a watch diameter-wise.

And these Anonimos have just beautiful fixed bezels and, for my taste, on 22mm straps, they just wear a bit more proportionately correct for my wrist size.

the largest watch I now own is the Omega Ploprof--24mm and very wide, but not very high....very comfortable to wear

And yes Darin, I've been bitten by the Nimo bug, but I still own a semi-tac SEAL, so I think my Kobold creds are intact
